Sherwood Announces Price Increases for Compressed Gas Product Lines
Niagara Falls, NY – October 22, 2007 – Sherwood, a division of Harsco GasServ, today announced price increases effective December 1, 2007 for the company’s compressed gas product lines.
Cost increases related to raw materials, energy, and transportation are cited as the primarily causes for the increases. Increases of approximately 5% to 6% on the company’s valve product line will take effect on December 1, 2007.
Sherwood continues to investigate alternate sourcing and manufacturing efficiencies to minimize the impact of escalating commodity and energy prices in the current economic environment. Sherwood remains committed to providing the best cylinder valve products to the global gas community at the best possible value.
Price increases will take effect on December 1, 2007. All orders received on or after December 1, 2007 will be subject to the increases.
