James E. Cline Named President of Harsco GasServ

Global Governance Committee Will Report to Mr. Cline

MECHANICSBURG, PA - (January 26, 2006) - James E. Cline has been appointed President of international compressed gas services and manufacturing company Harsco GasServ, a division of worldwide industrial services and products company, Harsco Corporation. Mr. Cline will also retain responsibilities for the direction of the Harsco GasServ Global Governance Committee.

Mr. Cline’s extensive credentials include a B.S.B.A. degree from Bowling Green State University and he has served in increasingly senior management roles since joining the company in 1994. Announcing the appointment, Harsco Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Derek C. Hathaway said, “Harsco’s continuing growth necessitates a constant review of our organizational structure and apportionment of responsibilities. Mr. Cline’s appointment reflects our ongoing reorganization and management change initiatives, designed to increase our operating and administrative efficiencies.”

The Harsco GasServ executive management committee, Scott W. Boyd, Vice President Sales and Marketing- Industrial Gas Products; Donald F. Fabricy, Vice President Sales and Marketing-Propane Products; Hoyt H. Fitzsimmons, Vice President and General Manager-Cryogenics; Michael L. Larsen, Vice President and General Manager-American Welding & Tank; and, Kenneth O. Miller, Vice President and General Manager-Structural Composites Industries will report directly to Mr. Cline. Cline emphasized his commitment to continue the influence of the global governance committee to identify and leverage synergies within the group to further capacities to market, service, repair and install the products produced by Harsco GasServ.
